Print Magic is the first application for the Apple iPad, iPhone, iTouch, Bada and Android products that allows for wireless printing.

 With Print Magic, you can now print images, text, and even web pages directly from your hand held device!  Print Magic can print almost anything, from any application, with no additional software to install.  If you can select it and copy it using the Copy and Paste feature, Print Magic can print it -- including applications like Mail, Safari, and of course Photos!

 Print Magic is simple to use:

Items such as e-mails, webpages, etc. are imported into the app using the "copy" function.  Just "copy" whatever you would like to print (or you can copy the URL at the top of a webpage to print the entire page) and open the app.  The text will automatically paste to the pasteboard.  All you have to do is tap print.

For convenience, Print Magic also allows you to select and print pictures from your Photo Library.  Tap the photo icon in the app.  That will bring you to your stored photos on your device.  Tap a picture to select and that picture will open within the app.  Just tap print.

Working with Images

You can print images with Print Magic by either copying a picture from another app on your iPhone or iPod Touch, or tapping on the image picker icon to select an image from your library.

Print Magic allows you to pan and zoom in your images to control what gets printed. 

1.  Drag the image to pan

2.  Pinch in/out to change the zoom level

3.  Shake the device to reset the image

4.  Double tap the image to enlarge it to fit in the screen in the correct aspect ration.

5.  Auto-rotation is supported

If you copy the address of a web page from Safari, or copy an individual link from Safari, Print Magic will display the web page for you to print.   Tapping the print button will print the entire web page.

 

Using multi-touch, you can zoom in on your web page to increase the quality of the printout.    Print Magic will print the portion of the screen that is visible, along with everything below that.   For example, if you zoom into a column of text so that the text takes up the entire iPhone screen, then Print Magic will print that text, along with the rest of the text in the column.

 

Rotating the device will print the web page in landscape mode, which can increase the print quality in some cases.

Printing:

Tap the Print button to print what is shown on the screen.  An image of the screen will zoom onto the printer icon and a progress indicator will pop up.

Print Options

Tap the Print Options button to select from a list of printers Print Magic has discovered, set the number of copies to print, or change the size of the output.
